In the Ralph Nader ad, there was an underlying myth that the country the founding fathers had imagined was the ideal country. This is actually false. There are many problems with the founding fathers’ ideas such as slavery and the ill-treatment of the Native Americans. For some reason people think of the founding fathers as gods, and associate their views for the country as a utopia. This may be too much, but another myth from the ad could be that not everyone believes that every person is entitled to pursue happiness. If this is a case then it is yet another myth being portrayed in this commercial.

When will this senile old twit just go away? Because this egotistical imbecile took so many votes from Al Gore in 2000 we were stuck with 8 years of the Bush administration. This election he was willing to screw over another democratic candidate and put the country through 4 more years of hell. This geriatric knew he had no chance of winning, yet he was too repulsively self-centered to care.

I would like to agree with Jonathan on this one. I would write more, but I think he summed it up very well. However, I do respect the fact that he doesn’t give up. He is a waste of time, space and energy in my opinion, but there are those out there who like wasting their vote and they need someone like Nader in order to help facilitate their desire.

The myth in Nader's ad has to do with him mentioning the founding founders. He thinks that people like the founding fathers because they were smart, made the Constitution, and were overall perfect. Nader believes that people agree with the founding fathers. Yet some people don't make the same connection to the founding fathers as Nader does.

Ralph Nader may have some great ideas which he talked about in this ad. Say for arguments sake that he was the best candidate he still wouldnt win because in todays political world it is impossible to win a presidential election without the support of a major party. For this reason Nader is nothing but a waste
